Rose chucker gets pricked

CHINA // Chinese traffic police issued a caution to a love-struck motorist who was caught throwing roses out of his car. The 26-year-old driver was throwing a rose out the window every kilometre on an expressway in the Hunan province. His act was part of an elaborate marriage proposal attempt after he bought 999 roses and planned to throw one out for every kilometre of the 1,000km of the road that ends up in Henan province. It is not known if his romantic gesture resulted in a positive answer from the recipient of the proposal.
