Dubai’s residential and retail hub City Walk is once again playing host to a pageant celebrating motoring outrageousness in all its shapes and forms.

Dubbed City Overdrive, the event features 80 modified, custom-built, and vintage motors from around the world, as well as super cars, monster trucks and modified bikes.

The 10-day affair, which culminates in a party on Friday, features many exhibits that haven’t been seen on UAE grit before, notably a GTR RB 34 and some vintage Mini Cooper Rat Rods.

Other cars on display include an off-road Dodge Challenger SRT8, a heavily modified Toyota Supra with a wide-body kit add on, and a trio of show cars from Japan’s Kuhl Racing stable.

Visitors keen to try a spot of motoring action themselves also have the opportunity in the Race Room, a zone dedicated to virtual motoring mayhem.

Those keener on a more sedate experience, however, could have a go around a pedal race circuit.
