Boris sold on green route

LONDON // Mayor Boris Johnson has publicly committed to never buying another car powered by an internal combustion engine. Apparently, going for a test drive in a Tesla Roadster was enough to convince him electric cars are the future of transportation. Johnson, also a commited cyclist, wrote about his new philosophy in a column for the British magazine What Car? With lithium ion batteries getting smaller, lighter and (hopefully) less expensive, Johnson feels pleasurable driving can be expereinced without any of the environmental downsides of an ICE.
