, an apartment in the
Address Downtown Dubai
. Sourcing pieces and furnishings exclusively from local shops and companies, and with a brief to appeal to the discerning, design-savvy client, the Dubai-based team created a scheme that was sophisticated yet quirky and ulitmately unique; sucecessfully marrying modern Scandinavian and classic European design with contemporary intepretations of traditional Arabic motifs.
We never have the space in the section to show all the photographs from our

's shoot, and we think that these in particular deserve a comprehensive airing, so here's the full selection...
- 1. The tables and shelving unit are by Muuto, available from Dubai's Kollektion & Co.

2. Alarm clocks were mounted and used to create this quirky piece of wall art.
The lettering was custom made.
6. With the discerning client in mind, the designers chose Vitra's Eames plastic side chairs
for the dining area. The light fixture is from Singways in Mall of the Emirates.
the embossed metal table is from Bloomingdales Home.
The same grey/red combination was again used, finished off with the red Umm Kulthum cushion, again from O'de Rose.
