With some celebrities opting for minimalist decor, and others going all out, be inspired in your Christmas decorating by these festive stars

'Favourite time of year,' make-up mogul Kylie Jenner captioned this photo of her traditional huge tree, which sits in the vast lobby of her Los Angeles home. Almost reaching the ceiling, her mum, Kris Jenner, later commented, 'The tree is so yummy.' Instagram

'Just fits!' wrote British TV cook Nigella Lawson of her gloriously minimalist tree, which was adorned with lots of fairy lights, but no ornaments. Instagram

The official account for the Buckingham Palace Shop shared this photo of the tree which stands in St George’s Hall at Windsor Castle. The castle is where Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip will spend Christmas this year. Instagram

US country singer Tim McGraw showed that they take Christmas very seriously in the Tennessee house he shares with his wife, fellow country star Faith Hill. 'A: Santa's lead flying reindeer. People around the world are seeking a little extra Christmas cheer this year, and celebrities are no exception. Stars have been sharing snaps of their festive decorations as they get into the swing of the festivities.

If you’re seeking inspiration for your festive home decor, look to the likes of Gigi Hadid, Tan France and Kelly Ripa.

There are a handful of stars who have chosen a less-is-more approach, including British TV cook Nigella Lawson, and Kourtney Kardashian, who both opted to adorn their trees with warm fairy lights and little else.

But for those who appreciate the all-out approach to tree decorating, Robbie Williams and Ayda Field's tree looked like it was decorated with much love and enthusiasm by their four children.

Pink trees appear to be a hot trend for Christmas 2020, with both Khloe Kardashian and Ashley Tisdale opting for the colourful hue.

While mid-December is a traditional time to get decorating, there was a number of stars who got into the spirit early, putting their trees up as far back as October 31.

The likes of Jones, France and Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi had their decorations up within the first couple of days of November, while Hadid and Malik waited until November 23 to switch their festive lights on.
