Jean-Georges Dubai in the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach has just launched a new brunch that features many of the upscale restaurant’s signature dishes. Diners are served a selection of starters and can choose one main option. Many of those mains include new brunch-only dishes such as crispy ocean trout sushi; eggs Benedict with veal ham; slow-baked salmon with truffle mashed potatoes; and roasted cod with crispy potato. A selection of desserts will also be served to the table. Jean-Georges Vongerichten is one of the most celebrated chefs in the world. His two restaurants in Dubai — Jean-Georges Dubai and the adjacent JG Kitchen — are his first in the Middle East. The JG brunch runs Fridays from noon to 4pm. For reservations, call 04 343 6118.
Novikov, in the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, is also launching a new brunch, starting this week. The modern Pan-Asian restaurant will feature interactive food stations, a dim sum station, a sushi counter and a dessert and waffle counter. Guests can dig into the famous Novikov tacos; steamed buns; black cod; Malaysian soft shell crab; French baby chicken; donburi rice teriyaki and more. There are three brunch packages available, starting at Dh370 per person. The brunch runs from noon to 4pm and includes live entertainment. For reservations, call 04 388 8744.
