It’s official: The Galvin Brothers are finally opening their first restaurant in Dubai. Foodies have been closely watching the British Michelin-starred brothers for nearly two years after rumblings about their intention to open an eatery in Dubai first surfaced.

Demoiselle by Galvin, brothers’ Jeff and Chris Galvin’s first location outside the UK, will swing open its doors by mid-March in City Walk, welcoming guests for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. The brothers have confirmed they’ll be in Dubai ahead of the opening.

Demoiselle by Galvin in Dubai is a two-level restaurant that can seat more than 200 guests. In addition to what the brothers call a simple, yet varied menu, Demoiselle by Galvin will make artisanal bread on site along with a range of viennoiserie. Afternoon tea will be served in the salon de the, a modern day tea parlour on the first floor of the restaurant. The brothers opened the original Demoiselle in Harrod’s department store in London in 2012.

Jeff Galvin says: “We are tremendously excited for the launch of Demoiselle in Dubai. We have been exploring our expansion to the UAE for more than seven years and all of the elements are in place — location, team, partner, menu, and interiors — to create a timeless experience in a very modern city.” Chris Galvin adds, “Dubai is the ideal market for Demoiselle and our first international opportunity to share our passion for classic cuisine, service and customer focus.”

The Galvin brothers have 10 restaurants in the UK, mostly centred in London and Edinburgh. Windows on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane, a restaurant the brothers opened in 2006, won its first Michelin star in 2010.
