British chef — and rising culinary powerhouse — Jason Atherton will host a one-night only culinary journey at his recently opened restaurant Marina Social in Dubai next week.
The chef will be back in the emirate to invite guests to ‘Dine Around the World’ on Monday, November 16. The evening’s specially designed eight-course tasting menu will feature signature dishes selected from Atherton’s Social restaurants around the world, including his Michelin-starred London flagship Pollen Street Social; Esquina in Singapore; 22 Ships in Hong Kong; and The Clocktower in New York, which he opened just before Marina Social in Dubai.
We won’t spoil the surprise and reveal all eight courses, but a sneak peek reveals that Atherton will be serving quail pie; a PBJ Mr. Whippy; and camel milk rice pudding and ice cream.
Atherton worked with Gordon Ramsay for five years before branching out on his own in 2010. He opened his first restaurant — Pollen Street Social — in 2011, which was awarded a Michelin star that same year. He now has 17 restaurants around the world, with more on the way.
