Grab a friend and treat yourselves to some innovative frozen treats at Rosa Mexicano’s Guacamole Ice Cream Festival in Dubai.
If you’ve never tasted guacamole ice cream, this is your chance. The ice cream, which is prepared tableside, mixes sweet avocado ice cream with strawberries, shaved white chocolate, cookies and mint leaves.
Not brave enough? Don’t fret. There are other interesting frozen delights on offer. The Sorbet Sunday includes mango and strawberry sorbet with strawberry-orange salsa and mango-lime salsa.
Or try the ice cream crepes – chocolate pancakes filled with cajeta mousse and candied pecan, topped with chocolate and vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce.
The Ice Cream Festival runs through August 31 and is part of Rosa Mexicano’s year-long Flavours of Mexico series of themed menus. There are two locations in Dubai – Mirdif City Centre (04 285 8988) and The Dubai Mall ( 04 388 2505).
