Emirati cuisine is on the menu at the new Al Fanar restaurant and cafe at Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi.
The restaurant, which is based in the Venetian Village, serves up authentic Emirati cuisine with fresh salads, fish, seafood and meats.
Hashem Al Marzouqi, a mechanical engineer, opened his first Al Fanar at Dubai Festival City. The second was inaugurated by Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority at Ritz Carlton this week.
The barasti outdoor booths, mud brick rooms and mini souk creates an old UAE neighbourhood feel at the restaurant and can seat 320 guests for lunch and dinner.
