The new fusion restaurant Andreea’s opened last week in the Dubai Marina at the Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa. The fine dining restaurant features a variety of fusion cuisine including American, Asian, French, Greek, Italian, Spanish and more. Dishes on the menu include Burrata con Pomodoro (burrata cheese and tomatoes), provence roasted chicken, dynamite chicken and sea bass baked in papillote (a foil pouch). In other restaurant opening news, the Mediterranean restaurant Boca has opened in DIFC. The restaurant is a social hangout featuring Mediterranean sharing food. The executive chef Maxime Le Van is from Nice, France and started his culinary education at age 15. Previously, Le Van was the head chef at Grosvenor House Dubai. With the cooler weather, The Farm, a restaurant in Al Barari, is launching a new season of Jazz evenings. Starting next Tuesday, The Farm will host the Desert Jazz band two nights a week. The band will play instrumental selections by Paul Moutarde and Tamas Antal on the saxophone and piano. The Farm is surrounded by gardens and naturally landscaped lakes and waterways.
