If you haven’t checked out the newly opened St. Regis Dubai in Al Habtoor City yet, here’s a good excuse to get there. Brasserie Quartier is now open at the hotel, serving up authentic French fare in a chic, sophisticated setting.
The menu, designed by director of culinary Stephane Buchholzer and the restaurant’s chef de cuisine Sofiane Kaced, is filled with French classics with a modern twist. You’ll find bites such as hand cut steak tartare; baked escargot; pan roasted organic salmon; spiced lamb chops; grilled octopus; grilled veal paillard and much more.
The brasserie is connected to a patisserie that serves up a wide range of fresh baked pastries, breads and treats. Don’t miss the signature raspberry croissant filled with raspberry purée. That croissant alone is a worth a trip to the hotel (I ate three in 24 hours).
Brasserie Quartier is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served buffet style though you can order from the breakfast menu as well. Lunch and dinner are served à la carte with a different menu for each mealtime. The brasserie is on level one of the hotel.
