Ever since Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry announced they were expecting their first child, a chorus of questions arose. Would it be a boy or a girl? What would they call it? Where would it be born? And how would Markle, who officially joined Britain’s royal family on her wedding day just last May, navigate the tricky task of dressing for a regal variety of formal and after-dark occasions, while accommodating a growing bump?

However, the 37-year-old has achieved the above with ease, judging by every public appearance made in recent months. From contemporary suiting to timelessly minimal evening gowns, the former actress is reinventing the codes of royal pregnancy dressing with each outfit, flitting between designer labels and high-street finds as she goes.

Indeed, Markle most recently stepped out in a cream turtleneck dress by Calvin Klein, teamed with an Amanda Wakely coat in a complementing hue, for an elegant take on the monotonal trend.

Her tour wardrobe, for a 16-day visit to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga in October, was a particular style highlight, with the duchess showcasing her newly-announced pregnancy in a range of fitted shift dresses, dressed-down jeans and column gowns.

Here, we've gathered together every outfit Markle has worn throughout her pregnancy so far, whether to inspire the also-expecting or just to satisfy the seemingly ever-increasing thirst to follow in the royal's fashion footsteps. And, with the duke and duchess's baby not due until the end of April, there will still be plenty more style moments to come.
