White trainers are something of a staple in today’s fashion climate. What started out as a blitzkrieg of bloggers deeming the Adidas Superstar and Stan Smith trainers to be the new It shoes, has sparked a footwear revolution. No longer is your sense of style measured by the heel of your stiletto; rather, it’s often times determined by the name behind your basic white trainer.
The new Dolce & Gabbana design, however, isn't your run-of-the-mill white shoe. Its shape may be typical, but its design is covered in beaded motifs, spiked and studded trims, and graffiti-like slogans. "No way", "So fab", and "Just pizza" are some of the phrases scrawled on the otherwise pristine white trainers.
Is this the next cult fashion shoe? Many have turned in their white Converse and Nike trainers for Gucci’s Ace Sneaker, which features the brand’s signature triple stripe and embroidered or bedazzled appliqués, and this latest launch by Dolce & Gabbana seems like it will attract a similar clientele.
The Dolce & Gabbana autumn/winter 2017 white trainers are now available at the flagship Dolce & Gabbana store in Mall of the Emirates for Dh4,000.

Stay indoors when conditions are particularly poor.
