Gigi Hadid is getting in the Christmas spirit early this year, thanks to her newborn daughter.
The supermodel, 25, revealed she had put up her festive decorations ahead of schedule as a treat for her first child, who was born in September.
Hadid, who welcomed her daughter with singer Zayn Malik, shared a rare picture of the tot, as she snuggled in an animal-print baby carrier.
"A whole new kind of busy and tired but she’s da bestie so she got Christmas decorations early," the model captioned a series of images, offering a further shot of her kissing her daughter on her head, as well as a peek at her home.
Hadid, who is of Palestinian and Dutch descent, and Malik, 27, have kept their new daughter's name under wraps since she was born. The pair have mostly shared images of their daughter's hands, as well as one photo where the baby's face was concealed.
The couple confirmed her birth on September 23.
"Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love," Hadid wrote on Instagram at the time.
"Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful. To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together,” Malik, 27, posted on his own Instagram page.
The supermodel and musician are yet to announce the name of their daughter, but fans have nicknamed her Zigi.
News of Hadid's pregnancy was first revealed in April, and the model later confirmed the news to US chat show host Jimmy Fallon, saying the couple were “extremely happy and excited”.
The model and Malik have been in an on and off relationship since 2015. They broke up for a period in 2018, but it was confirmed they were back together in December 2019.
Bella gets inked with Arabic script
Meanwhile, as Hadid nested with her newborn daughter, her younger sister showcased a new piece of body art.
Fellow model Bella, 24, has been tattooed with two Arabic phrases, just beneath her shoulders, by celebrity tattoo artist Dr Woo.
The Dior ambassador has had the script for "my love" and "I love you" emblazoned at the top of her arms.
The supermodel has never been shy about expressing pride in her faith and Palestinian heritage. In a 2017 interview with Porter magazine, she revealed how her life had been shaped by her father, real-estate mogul Mohamed Hadid.
“He was always religious, and he always prayed with us,” the model said of her father, who is of Palestinian descent. “I am proud to be a Muslim.”
