Instagram, the photo-based social platform, has brought out a new feature.
During live videos, you can play with face filters. Be it a kitten avatar or adding a sprinkle of stars or rainbow light to your face, the filters can be tried on while connecting with friends and followers in the moment.
You have to tap the face icon in the bottom right corner before or during the live broadcast. Then tap any filter to check out a new look and play around.
There’s a special sunglasses face filter, which is available exclusively in live video for the next week. And what’s more is you can tap to change the scenery reflected in your lenses.
When your live video has ended you can share a replay to stories, or choose “Discard” for the video to disappear.
Face filters in live video will be rolling out globally over the next few weeks.
