It may feel like Dubai Summer Surprises only just ended, but that was more than six weeks ago now, so it is time to look forward to the emirate's next shopping bonanza: Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).

The six-week festival is set to kick off on Thursday, December 17 and will continue until Saturday, January 30, 2021, which means we'll be ending 2020 and kicking 2021 off with plenty of bargains. It will be Dubai's 26th shopping festival.

According to organisers, people can expect all of the fun and entertainment they have come to associate with DSF in years gone by during the 2020 celebrations. There will be live concerts, markets, art installations and stage shows, as well as sales, promotions and competitions throughout the six weeks.

Highlights will include the opening weekend, which promises "an amazing line-up of events including concerts by world-famous music stars, stunning light and fireworks shows". As the festival takes place over New Year's Eve, it is expected there will be extra-special celebrations to mark the new year.
