With the UAE’s winter season now in full swing, tourists are flocking back to the Emirates, and among them are a few famous faces.

Stars have been out and about lapping up the winter sun at some of Dubai’s best hotels and beaches, while by night, they have been enjoying some of the emirate’s many incredible food offerings.

Here's who has been spotted in Dubai this week ...

DJ Snake

French DJ and record producer DJ Snake spent some time in Dubai recently. The Let Me Love You hitmaker posted a sunset yacht snap from his trip on his Instagram page, alongside the caption "God is great". He was also spotted dining at DIFC restaurant Shanghai Me.

Ellie Brown

Former Love Island star Ellie Brown has been out and about in Dubai over the past couple of weeks. According to her Instagram, the reality star stayed at Five Palm Jumeirah, and dined at restaurants including Nusr-Et Dubai. She also visited celebrity-favourite nightclub Nargui Five. And, of course, it wouldn't be an A-list trip to Dubai without a day on a yacht.

Jess and Natalya Wright

Former The Only Way is Essex star Jess Wright and her influencer sister, Natayla, are in Dubai to celebrate their mum Carole's birthday. The famous family have been staying at Jumeirah Al Naseem as well as Palazzo Versace, where they also enjoyed the Secret Palazzo Brunch. The family have also been spotted dining at Souk Al Bahar restaurant Thiptara, as well as enjoying a pool day at Ce La Vi Dubai.

Megan McKenna

Singer and reality television star Megan McKenna has also escaped the UK autumn for some winter sun in Dubai. She has been staying at The Westin Mina Seyahi and has been pictured enjoying dinner at Shanghai Me and Thiptara, as well as plenty of beach and pool days.

Inna

Romanian pop star Inna has been enjoying a break in Dubai, staying at Al Maha Desert resort. According to her Instagram posts from her trip, she also spent some time at the beach, staying at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah.

Khabib Nurmagomedov

The UFC champion has, of course, been in the Emirates ahead of his main card slot at UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. Fresh from his victory on Saturday evening, when he also announced his retirement from the sport, Nurmagomedov was pictured in Dubai enjoying an evening on a boat as well as meeting with Sheikh Hamdan, who personally congratulated him on his win.

One in nine do not have enough to eat

Created in 1961, the World Food Programme is pledged to fight hunger worldwide as well as providing emergency food assistance in a crisis.

One of the organisation’s goals is the Zero Hunger Pledge, adopted by the international community in 2015 as one of the 17 Sustainable Goals for Sustainable Development, to end world hunger by 2030.

The WFP, a branch of the United Nations, is funded by voluntary donations from governments, businesses and private donations.

Almost two thirds of its operations currently take place in conflict zones, where it is calculated that people are more than three times likely to suffer from malnutrition than in peaceful countries.

It is currently estimated that one in nine people globally do not have enough to eat.

On any one day, the WFP estimates that it has 5,000 lorries, 20 ships and 70 aircraft on the move.

Outside emergencies, the WFP provides school meals to up to 25 million children in 63 countries, while working with communities to improve nutrition. Where possible, it buys supplies from developing countries to cut down transport cost and boost local economies.
