Thermal scanners have been installed at the entrance of the malls and anyone with a temperature above 38°C will not be allowed to enter. Car parking has also been reduced by 50 per cent to ensure social distancing, and valet parking and car washing services will not be available. “We have worked closely with our tenants to ensure that they provide our customers with a safe and comfortable shopping and dining experience,” says Benoy Kurien, group chief executive of Al Hamra. “The safety of our customers, partners and employees is our utmost priority and we will continue to support and adhere to the guidelines issued by the authorities at all times.” The news follows last week's announcement that public beaches in Ras Al Khaimah could reopen from Thursday.
