If you have ever wanted to watch the sunrise from atop the highest building in the world, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa is now accepting visitors on weekends to watch as the skyline transitions from darkness to light.
Viewing will be held on the 124th floor on one of the tower’s three viewing decks. Sessions start from 5.30am with another viewing every 30 minutes until 8am.
Tickets are Dh125 for adults and Dh95 for children aged between four and 12. Children under four can enter for free.
Ticket-holders will also get a chance to explore the story behind the Burj Khalifa with an exhibition, and experience the world’s fastest double-deck elevator cruising at 10 metres per second.
Every visitor to Burj can also learn about the Hymenocallis flower, which is the design inspiration for the tower. They can watch a compilation of all the record-breaking events that have taken place at the Burj and see how the Hollywood star Tom Cruise climbed the building during the filming of Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol.
Last month, the Burj Khalifa opened a new viewing deck on the 148th floor, giving it the record of highest viewing deck in the world.
