Abu Dhabi will now be marketed as a vacation destination for South Africans, with the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority opening an overseas marketing office in the country.
It will promote the emirate through training sessions and marketing partnerships with travel agents and tour operators. A variety of trade activities will help showcase Abu Dhabi’s diversity.
The addition of the South African office brings the number of overseas offices to 11. The venture comes as South African Airways announces daily flights from Johannesburg to Abu Dhabi beginning in March.
