ABU DHABI // Twenty-one Abu Dhabi government entities will showcase technologies at Gitex technology week starting on Sunday.
Abu Dhabi e-Government will highlight its achievements since it was launched 10 years ago during its participation in the exhibition, coordinated by the Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre.
Rashed Al Mansoori, director general of the centre, said Adsic has worked with its partners since 2006 to strengthen digital services in the emirate.
“Gitex visitors will have the opportunity to witness how electronically evolved we are as an integrated entity in legislation, planning and implementation,” Mr Al Mansoori said.
He said his centre has “enhanced the emirate’s status as a modern and sophisticated destination and hub”.
Abu Dhabi e-Government will have a pavilion with the latest software as well as interactive areas.
Government entities such as the Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits, Family Development Foundation, Judicial Department and Department of Finance will participate.
