The Abu Dhabi-based film and television production company ImageNation is to be transferred to the twofour54 media free zone from Abu Dhabi Media (ADM).
“Following a thorough examination of the prospects for future growth of the company, and given our vision to focus on media content in the region, the board of directors felt it is the ideal time to transfer [Image Nation] to the Abu Dhabi Media Zone (twofour54),” said ADM’s chairman, Mohamed Ebrahim Al Mahmood.
ImageNation was established in 2008 to support the development of the UAE's movie industry. Its production credits include Men in Black 3, The Help and Djinn, the horror movie set in Ras Al Khaimah directed by the Texas Chainsaw Massacre's Tobe Hooper.
The move would “facilitate a closer working relationship with twofour54’s other media partners and other independent media companies,” said the ImageNation chief, Michael Garin.
