Got a brilliant idea for a hit movie, amazing video game or groundbreaking animation feature knocking around in your brain?
If so, you should get along to the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) in Dubai this weekend.
For twofour54, the Abu Dhabi Media Zone Authority, will be hosting a programme of free workshops at the event to help you realise your creative potential.
Creative Campus is a series of interactive sessions giving aspiring young animators, game developers and film makers the chance to meet industry professionals and learn practical new skills.
Experts from media education organisation SAE Institute, the Cartoon Network Animation Academy, twofour54 Gaming Academy in partnership with Ubisoft, and twofour54 creative lab will be on hand to impart their knowledge.
Highlights include SAE Institute’s 3D Games Development workshop, which will teach young game developers how to create their own games for tablets and consoles. Another session, World Heroes, will see a lead artist from Ubisoft Abu Dhabi Studio exploring why characters such as Batman, Harry Potter and Naruto have such global appeal.
"The workshops offered at the twofour54 creative campus are a great way to get inspired for an exciting, dynamic and creative career in the media industry,” says Noura Al Kaabi, chief executive of twofour54.
MEFCC takes place at Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Sayahi on April 5 and 6. Visit www.mefcc.com for more information.
