Director: Park Chan-wook

It's actually a bit of an oldie (2000) and was already a huge hit in South Korea when it came out, but this is certainly something to see on the big screen if you haven't before. Explained through a series of flashbacks, the story follows the investigation into the deaths of two North Korean soldiers in the Demilitarised Zone between the two countries and the subsequent cover-up. And if you wanted an endorsement, Quentin Tarantino named it as one of his favourite films made since 1992.

Marina Mall, Vox 1 Cinema, 9.30p.
