Tyrese to collaborate with Mehad Hamad

His fellow Fast & Furious 7 actors are not the only superstars Tyrese Gibson is working with during his UAE stay. The actor and R&B singer posted a Facebook video on Sunday of him watching and dancing along to a performance by the Emirati singer Mehad Hamad. In the accompanying post, Tyrese said the two are set to work together. "In my room and a very powerful and significant guest joins me in Dubai to make music," he said. "The merging of Arabic traditional music with R&B!!! Mehad Hamad!!! We have BIG secret plans!!! We will tell you soon!" The collaboration came about after Tyrese tweeted an Instagram shout-out to Hamad on Thursday: "I hope to meet and possible work on a duet with you." Hamad tweeted back the same day with: "Pleasure that you are my fan and I would love to meet you whenever you are in the UAE." On Sunday, Tyrese posted a picture on Instagram showing Hamad gifting him with an oud. "What a great honor it was to meet you sir," he said in the post.
