Surf’s up
Boutique 1 has added a new swimwear label, and we like what we see. New York-based luxury brand Flagpole blends swim with sport, and its latest collection includes a range of stylish one-piece suits. Designs are punctuated with trendy colour-blocking and cutouts in nautical hues of navy, turquoise and sunshine yellow.

Through the looking glass
Launched in Ibiza in 2010, Italian eyewear brand Glassing has become a celebrity favourite with A-listers such as Kate Moss, Rihanna, Elton John and Justin Bieber. The brand launched in the UAE with a pop-up shop at The Beach in JBR, and has just opened its second pop-up, at Dubai’s City Walk 2. The new collection incorporates stylish round shapes with mirrored lenses and monochromatic colour combinations.

Socially responsible slippers
These flip-flops by Brazilian footwear brand Ipanema are as stylish as they are sustainable. Instead of rubber sourced from the Amazon, all designs are manufactured from non-toxic, 100-per-cent recyclable PVC. Prints range from colourful, tropical designs to pastel and feminine patterns.

Eye-popping patterns
Weill’s spring/summer collection is full of vibrant tropical prints. For the new season, the Parisian brand has decorated tunics, shift dresses and light jackets with summer prints.
