Emirati film maker Nawaf Al Janahi will be at New York University Abu Dhabi tonight to answer questions about his award winning feature film Sea Shadow.
Set in a small seaside neighborhood in Ras Al-Khaimah, the film follows Emirati 16 year-olds Mansoor and Kaltham as they struggle with traditions and conventions on their journey towards adulthood. Bound by family and deeply rooted values, the pair must find the courage to forge their paths.
After the screening, Al Janahi will be answering questions about the film, its storyline and its production.
