Time to laugh it up with Jeff Dunham and John Bishop

In May, Jeff Dunham takes the stage at du Forum on Yas Island and John Bishop will perform at the Dubai World Trade Centre

May is set to be a funny month with the arrival of two big comedians to the UAE.

The acclaimed American comic and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will take the du Forum stage on Yas Island on May 1 and 2. He brings along a colourful cast of odd characters including Walter the grumpy retiree and José Jalapeño, the pepper from the American Mexican border. Tickets cost from Dh295 at www.ticketmaster.ae.

Meanwhile in Dubai, the British comic John Bishop will perform at the Dubai World Trade Centre on May 29. Since winning the Best Male Breakthrough Act at the 2010 British Comedy Awards, Bishop has appeared in a range of television specials and headlined sell-out performances across the United Kingdom.
