It won’t be all gloom for children at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre as the hotel switches off the lights during Earth Hour this year.
The young guests at the hotel will be treated to a stories by candlelight session during the hour-long switch off on Saturday as part of the Ritz Kids programme.
Children between four and 12 years old will be engaged in story time by the staff at the hotel, while all learning about energy conservation and environmental responsibility.
Stories by Candlelight will start at 8.30pm and is free to attend for guests at the hotel. Visitors can attend for Dh60, which will be donated to the World Wide Fund for Nature.
