Shah Rukh Khan might reveal the first trailer of his much-awaited drama Happy New Year at the opening Indian Premier League game in Abu Dhabi on April 16, the Indian television channel Zoom reported.
Shah Rukh Khan’s team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, which he co-owns with the actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, will take on the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the first game of the cricket tournament at Sheikh Zayed Stadium. Khan will attend a private gala dinner in Abu Dhabi on April 15. Phase 1 of the IPL is being played out across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, and ends on April 30. The tournament will continue in India and Bangladesh.
Happy New Year is directed by Farah Khan and co-stars Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan. The film is due out during Diwali this year.
