Special edition 007 Aston Martin to go under the hammer at DIFF charity night

The Dubai International Film Festival charity auction to raise funds for displaced children in Syria will include a unique James Bond themed Aston Martin Vanquish produced to celebrate 50 years of the spy movie.

The festival organisers, along with Dubai Cares and Oxfam will hold the 'One Night to Change Lives' night on December 11, alongside the 10th edition of DIFF.

Proceeds from the exclusive gala evening will be distributed by Dubai Cares and their global partner Oxfam in war-ridden Syria. Money raised will go towards providing the children and their families in Lebanon and Jordan, who live in informal tented communities, with basic supplies like shelter, food, water, sanitation during the winter months and education.

The gala will feature an auction of 007 items, given by Eon Productions and their James Bond films'.  A unique James Bond themed Aston Martin Vanquish, with Skyfall’s silver exterior, 50 years of 007 logo on the headrests and 20-spoke diamond turned gloss black wheels will be auctioned. Exclusive tickets to the world premiere of the next Bond film and a selection of iconic memorabilia from the movies will also go under the hammer. Scarlett Johansson, Oxfam’s Global Ambassador has donated VIP tickets for her film Captain America 2, which is inclusive of air tickets.
