The second edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA), scheduled to take place last weekend, has been postponed until September to avoid clashing with other celebrations for the centenary of Indian cinema. The venue remains the Expo Centre Sharjah. The event will still feature the Generation Next Awards on the first night and the SIIMA awards on the second. Abhishek Kapoor still searching for his next leading lady
The filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, set to shoot his next film headlined by the actor Sushant Singh Rajput, says he's still hunting for the project's leading lady. Katrina Kaif was earlier rumoured for the role, but Kapoor didn't comment on whether he's even courting the actress for the movie. "We are still in the scripting stage. Sushant is playing the lead and nothing else has been finalised," Kapoor told reporters. The film is an adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations. - IANS

Priyanka Chopra's second single, Exotic, has been leaked online, but the actress says she's not irked. "So my new single Exotic has been leaked! Sonam Kapoor says her biggest critic - her father, the actor Anil Kapoor - complimented her for her role in the romantic saga Raanjhanaa, currently screening in UAE cinemas. Bipasha Basu, known in the industry for not missing a workout session even while filming, was in Ooty this weekend shooting for her new movie Creature. When she didn't find the nearby gym's facilities satisfactory, her own DVDs came in handy. The actress has produced two fitness-based DVDs, BB Love Yourself: Fit and Fabulous You (2010) and Break Free (2012).
