Footage of Dubai's Guinness World Record for the largest synchronised car "dance" is now a part of Pepsi's short film starring Hollywood actors David Oyelowo and Freida Pinto.

To the beats of Usher's Miracle, a fleet of 121 multi-coloured Land Cruisers forming the universal peace sign in the Dubai desert, comes at the 5.23-second mark in Black Knight Decoded, created by Jabbar Raisani and bestselling author James Frey.

The short film merges scenes of activations shot from space from 11 countries. Thew footage from the UAE includes a desert scene with the cars creating a formation that measured more than 80 metres in diameter.

The synchronised formation was overseen by UK graffiti artist INSA.

Pepsi, along with Levity entertainment Group produced the 10-minute short film using UrtheCast, the HD video system located aboard the International Space Station. Oyelowo portrays a father who, along with his daughter and friend (Pinto), is on a mission to decode radio signals transmitted from the Black Knight satellite. They enlist the help of communities across the globe to decipher the message of hope, unity and peace. The video comes on the back of the Pepsi Challenge, initiated by the company this year for consumers to record and submit their big moments.​
