Season four of Karan Johar’s gossipy talk show Koffee with Karan will begin on Sunday, with the Bollywood star Salman Khan as the first guest. A promo of a small clip from that first episode has gone viral on YouTube, showing Johar telling Khan: “It took me many years to get you on this couch. Why have you resisted coming?” A distinctly uneasy Khan replies: “The questions you ask are too personal and I feel a bit shy and uncomfortable,” only to get a frown from the host. The actor’s father, the scriptwriter Salim Khan, reportedly also features in the episode. Other guests this season include the star cousins Ranbir and Kareena Kapoor. Koffee with Karan is broadcast weekly on Star World.
