Salman Khan’s Kick makes Rs 2 billion in less than two weeks

He easily has a billion fans, and now Salman Khan's latest action comedy Kick, which was released on the Eid weekend, has made Rs 2 billion (Dh119,900,000) at the Indian box office, galloping past his 2012 action film Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots (2008).
The Eid slot has always belonged to Khan, as other actors have discovered to their peril in the past.
Trade experts say there's nothing to stop the film from overtaking Sallu's one-time friend and long-time foe Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express (2013).
