Pop star Bebe Rexha will perform at Dubai’s Autism Rocks Arena on April 28 — and it’s free entry for all Justin Bieber ticket holders.
The American talent is best known as a singer-for-hire, contributing guest vocals to a string of global smashes for other artists. Among the most memorable are G-Eazy's Me, Myself & I, David Guetta's Hey Mama and Martin Garrix's In the Name of Love.
The concert takes place a week before Bieber’s appearance at the same venue, and in news which will doubtless thrill parents, entry to Rexha’s gig will be free to all existing Bieber ticket holders.
The event is being described by promoters 117Live as the Bieber concerts “official pre party” — in effect, a free support act, who just happens to be playing eight days before the headliner.
As well as Bieber ticket holders, all Gold’s Gym members can apply for a free ticket to the concert by visiting 117live.com. Regular tickets are on sale from the same website priced Dh150.
Promoters 117Live faced widespread criticism following chaotic traffic management at last month’s Guns n’ Roses concert at the same venue, when punters reported waits of up to two hours, while hundreds took to the highway to walk.
An estimated 30,000 descended on the arena at that March 3 concert, a figure which is likely to be matched by Bieber, who performed to 30,000 fans in the emirates over two nights at Sevens Stadium in May 2013.

His life in brief: Born in a village near Galilee, he lived in exile for most of his life and started writing poetry after high school. He was arrested several times by Israel for what were deemed to be inciteful poems. Most of his work focused on the love and yearning for his homeland, and he was regarded the Palestinian poet of resistance. Over the course of his life, he published more than 30 poetry collections and books of prose, with his work translated into more than 20 languages. Many of his poems were set to music by Arab composers, most significantly Marcel Khalife. Darwish died on August 9, 2008 after undergoing heart surgery in the United States. He was later buried in Ramallah where a shrine was erected in his honour.
