The recently launched Paramount Movie Channel is set to celebrate the likely first weekend after Ramadan with a celebratory marathon of movies following the lives and careers of some of the pop world’s greatest divas.

On Thursday June 29, starting at 20:00 Paramount’s Thursday Focus will showcase four movies about four of the biggest female pop stars of the last three decades. Aaliyah: Princess of R&B kicks things of, and promises tears when the tragic star finds out age ain’t nothing but a very low number. Next, enjoy Britney Spears’ journey from TV child star to pop icon in Britney Ever After and then re-live the rise and fall of Whitney Houston in Whitney. From her early success to her troubled personal life and tempestuous relationship with Bobby Brown, this movie leaves nothing out. Finally, in Unbreak My Heart: Toni Braxton find out how the singer and philanthropist overcame personal and professional challenges to become one of the best-selling artists of the ‘90s.

Paramount movie channel is available exclusively on OSN.
