New Disney’s Frozen singalong version hits UAE cinemas

If you haven't been able to Let it Go yet, then catch Disney's new Frozen singalong version at Vox Cinemas, Mall of the Emirates, on Friday.

The highest grossing animated film of all time has been repackaged for fans with lyrics on screen to help the audience sing along with Anna and Elsa during the film. The movie, which released last year, won Best Original Song for Let It Go at the Oscars. It grossed more than US$1.219 billion worldwide. The songs have also inspired thousands of cover videos on YouTube.

Earlier this year, Dave Hollis, the executive vice president of theatrical distribution at Walt Disney Studios said the version provided an opportunity for the family to get together for a fun viewing.

"Frozen fans have embraced the film's original songs and its soundtrack with such passion. There are countless YouTube videos from people singing songs like Let It Go- we decided to create a version that would celebrate that enthusiasm."

The first screening will take place at Mall of the Emirates at noon. For more information, visit uae.voxcinemas.com
