The producers of the television movie Liz and Dick summoned paramedics to Lohan's hotel room on Friday morning in Hollywood after she was found unconscious. The incident occurred after the actress completed an all-night shoot and had kept up a gruelling schedule during the last month. She is expected to return to the film's set this week. * AP

Thai ministry complains about Lady Gaga

Thailand's culture ministry is criticising Lady Gaga over what it says was her inappropriate use of a Thai flag during a Bangkok concert last month. Gaga wore a traditional Thai headdress and a bikini and sat on a motorcycle with a Thai flag tied to it. The ministry says the act was "not appropriate and hurt the feelings of the Thai people". Gaga's Asian tour has been wildly popular but controversial. An Indonesian show was cancelled after religious hardliners denounced it. * AP

Chris Brown injured in brawl

Chris Brown and his girlfriend, the model Karrueche Tran, were injured when an altercation with members of the hip-hop star Drake's entourage turned into a bottle-hurling brawl on Thursday at a New York club. Brown tweeted a photo of himself with a cut chin, then later removed it, as well as other messages about the fight. A representative said the singer was a victim of a "brutal attack". A representative for Drake said the star was on his way out of the club when the fight began. It's not clear what prompted it, but both Brown and Drake have dated the singer Rihanna. * AP
