The Star Wars rumour engine is back in top gear following the weekend's release of the first teaser trailer for The Force Awakens.
One of our current favourite casting rumours, meanwhile, claims that Andy Serkis, who has now confirmed it is his voice narrating the trailer, is to play two roles – one a motion-capture character, and the other a live-action role.
Jedi News’ source claims that in his motion-capture role, Serkis will lead a “group of unbelievably athletic and acrobatic characters” including the parkour star Pip Anderson. His second part is claimed to be smaller but “pivotal” and will end up proving crucial to Daisy Ridley’s character’s backstory.
Elsewhere, Slashfilm claims the next teaser trailer will screen with 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron. This isn't too surprising – the movie is likely to be Disney's second biggest of 2015 after Star Wars and its United States release date of May 1 does sit tantalisingly close to Star Wars Day on May 4.
