Regional TV streaming service ICFLIX has announced its line-up of Ramadan shows.
Wesh Tany, Al Ahd, Al Sa'look, Yawmiyat Zoga Mafrusa Awy, Hawary Bucharest, Alf Leila we Leila and Khalil Allah, an animation series for children, will be part of the programming during the holy month.
“There is great demand for TV series during the month of Ramadan, as people spend more time at home. There will be action, drama, comedy and thriller. There will be something for everyone during this family bonding time,” said Carlos Tibi, chief executive of ICFLIX.
The recently announced series Alf Leila we Leila will premiere exclusively on icflix for online streaming only. The series is based on the historically acclaimed fantasy-folk tales, bringing to life the stories of treachery and nobility of the ruler Shehryar and his wife Scheherazade.
Tibi added: "Also the animation series Khalil Allah, will adhere to the spirit of the holy month, which will aim to educate children and strengthen their knowledge of Islam as well as their Arabic language skills."
