Idris Elba wraps up filming The Dark Tower
Actor Idris Elba, who will be seen as Roland Deschain in
, has finished shooting for the fantasy film. Elba took to Twitter to share the news that he's finished his part in the film, which is now in post-production, reports www.aceshowbiz.com. "I'm done filming. Spoke to the director the other day and he said the edit is coming along really well," Elba tweeted. In , Elba stars opposite Matthew McConaughey, who portrays the villainous Walter Padick, also known as the Man in Black, and Jackie Earle Haley, who plays the vampire leader Richard Sayre. Directed by Nikolaj Arcel, focuses on Elba's character Deschain who is in search of a dark tower rumoured to be a magical portal to other worlds.
