Respected electronic club night Plus Minus Sessions has announced two quality bookings to round up 2014.
On November 13 the team will host a double bill of Spain’s Paco Osuna and Germany’s Alex Niggemann, while his countryman Ben Klock – number four on Resident Advisor’s Top 100 Artists of 2014 – will headline on December 5.
Both nights are at Dubai’s Media One Hotel, Level 41 venue, with advance tickets Dh100.
Irish charm
Former Eurovision Song Contest finalist Brian Kennedy will perform an intimate acoustic gig in the UAE.
The Northern Irish singer-songwriter, who rose to fame after backing Van Morrison on a number of recordings, will perform a free gig at The Irish Village on November 27.
Classic rock
Fans of classic British rockers Queen can relieve the band’s heyday with a Dubai-bound tribute band.
On the road since 1996, The Champions claim to channel the best of the iconic band, with a two hour set booked at Dubai’s Music Room on Thursday November 13, tickets Dh100.
Movember madness
Catch the comedians of tomorrow at Dubomedy’s upcoming Movember Mixtape.
Subtitled a Stand-up & Improv Comedy Special, the night will see the UAE comedy school’s students showcase their skills live in front of an audience.
This free event takes place at Dubai Marina Yacht Club on Saturday November 15 from 7pm.
