Five less successful looks from London Collections Men - in pictures

And now for the looks that didn’t work so well.

Alex Mullins

We’re torn about this one. A denim jumper is something we’ve never seen before, but the intentionally mucked-up finishings make the garment look quite ratty.

Craig Green

It’s fine to put out unwearable looks on the catwalk once in a while – it’s called a show, after all – but we’re having a hard time imagining this ensemble translating into everyday wear.

MAN

Man, oh man. The emerging design collective has delivered some hits in recent seasons, but their latest show was a miss – featuring clothing too costumey for anyone to pull off.

Moschino

These pieces could look good if worn separately, paired with more toned-down garments. Worn together – plus that hairdo – and we’re in gaudy territory.

Nasir Mazhar

I’m a massive fan of Nasir Mazhar’s diverse runway, but what was up with that dishevelled mascot that randomly popped up? It was a missed opportunity – because given some context it could have been a statement piece.
