Reporter Maey El Shoush writes:
The British horror film The Woman in Black opened in cinemas in the US and Canada this weekend to largely good reviews. Based on the novel by Susan Hill and starring 22-year-old Daniel Radcliffe in his first post-Harry Potter role, the movie is set in a creepy English town where young lawyer Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe) must attend the funeral of the reclusive widow of Earl Marsh estate and sort through her papers. He soon finds there is more to the woman and to the town than he had first anticipated. The film opens in the UK on February 10, and having been turned into a stage production, it is now the longest running West End show (1989) in history.
