Chart-topping electro-house star Example is winging his way back to Dubai.
The UK talent, best known for hit Changed the Way You Kiss Me, will perform at Nasimi Beach on Friday May 1, backed by DJ Wire.
Example hit regional headlines in October 2012 after a headline slot at Sandance was cancelled at the last minute, after the vocalist otherwise known as Elliot Gleave suffered a leg injury. Dizzee Rascal was called on as a last-minute replacement.
He did make up for it by returning to the same venue for the short-lived EDMX festival in 2013.
The 2015 gig closes a run of internationals playing a new Nasimi Sessions concept, a fortnightly mini-festival taking place at Atlantis, with Sandance currently on ice.
New names also recently announced for the series are Marlon Roudette on April 3 and Robin Schulz on April 16.
Early bird tickets are available for Dh100 from www.platinumlist.ae. On the night tickets will cost Dh150, with ladies free before 7pm.
