British singer Ed Sheeran is coming to Dubai. He will perform on March 5, 2015 at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, November 20, 2014.

The one-off concert is Sheeran’s first in the Middle East and will take place ahead of the Australia leg of his world tour.

Hailing from Suffolk, England, 23-year-old Sheeran exploded out of nowhere with 2011's debut album +, which featured hits The A Team and Lego House, and went on to sell more than five million copies worldwide.

This year's follow up X repeated the trick, topping charts in the United Kingdom and USA, and sporting number one singles Thinking Out Loud and Sing, featuring Pharrell Williams.

The later tune earned Sheeran an MTV Video Music Award for Best Male, adding to a stacked awards cabinet which also carries the 2012 Brit Award for best British Solo Male Artist and the 2014 Q Best Solo Artist.

Tickets prices start at Dh350 for regular entry and Dh1,200 for VIP. For pre-sale tickets visit edsheerandubai.com
