The Middle East Film and Comic Con has announced the first guests for this year’s fifth anniversary event, taking place from April 7-9 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Topping the bill is comic book legend Stan Lee, creator of Spiderman, Hulk and Iron Man, among many others, who will be virtually returning to the MEFCC stage with a live video Q+A. All ticket holders will also have the opportunity to enter a draw for the chance to fly to LA later this year and walk the red carpet with Lee at the premiere of Captain America: Civil War.

There will be plenty of guests making the trip to Dubai in the flesh too, and the first to be announced include Christopher Lloyd, aka Doc Brown from the Back to the Future films; Veronica Taylor, who provided the voices for Ash Ketchum in the Pokemon animated series and April O'Neill in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons, and Fabian Nicieza, co-creator of the Deadpool comic, which is currently smashing box office records in the UAE and around the globe in the movie adaptation starring Ryan Reynolds.

Tickets are on sale now, including an early bird three-day pass for AED200. Standard packages range from a one-day pass at Dh100 to a AED500 VIP three-day pass. Visit www.mefcc.com/tickets for more details.
