Our pick of the week is the uber-cool Grammy Award-nominee Felix da Housecat. The American producer and DJ will kick off the new season at the stylish Provocateur with his blend of house and electroclash styles.

The Act returns to active duty this weekend with its Invasion party. DJs ­Michka and Jean B will helm the decks to play a ­selection of popular and cool ­electronic tunes.

The popular hip-hop night returns to People by Crystal Dubai with a line-up led by DJ Bliss, Mr Shef Codes and DJ Kaboo. Local favourite DJ Bliss arrives to the venue on a high – debut single Shining (featuring Kuwaiti crooner Daffy and American rapper Mims) has already clocked more than a million plays on YouTube.

Deep-Hop

A Club launches its new club concept where deep, progressive and electro- house will be played alongside old-school hip-hop. DJs Benyamin and Joey will be at the decks in a night billed as “where house meets hip-hop”.

Summer Rock Fest
